NDAForge is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your legal documents and personal information should remain entirely under your control.

Data Collection

We collect minimal data for site improvement only.

• No user accounts or registration required
• No server-side databases storing your information
• Minimal analytics for understanding site usage (see Third-Party Services below)
• No personal or document data sharing

How Your Data is Handled

Local Storage Only

All data you enter into NDAForge is:

1. Stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB
2. Never transmitted to our servers or any third parties
3. Completely under your control - you can delete it at any time
4. Accessible only to you from your device

What Gets Stored Locally

When you use NDAForge, the following may be stored in your browser:

• Document History: Previously generated NDA configurations (if you choose to save them)
• Party Templates: Company information you've saved for reuse
• Form Data: Temporary storage of form inputs while you're creating an NDA

PDF Generation

PDF files are generated entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The PDF:

• Never touches our servers
• Is created directly on your device
• Downloads straight to your computer
• Contains only the information you entered

No AI Processing

NDAForge does not use AI services that process your confidential information. All document generation happens locally in your browser using pre-written legal templates.

Third-Party Services

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve NDAForge.

What Ahrefs collects:

• Page views and navigation patterns
• General location data (country/city level)
• Referring websites
• Browser and device type

What Ahrefs does NOT collect:

• Personal identifiable information (PII)
• Any content you enter into forms
• Your NDA document contents
• Email addresses or contact information

Data retention: Analytics data is retained by Ahrefs per their privacy policy.

Opt-out: You can block Ahrefs analytics using browser extensions or privacy tools.

No Other Third-Party Services

We do not integrate with any other third-party services for:

• Form processing or validation
• Data storage or backups
• Payment processing
• Marketing or advertising
• Social media tracking

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data, there's nothing for us to:

• Access
• Share
• Sell
• Delete (it's already only on your device)

You have complete control over your data through your browser's storage settings.

Browser Storage Management

To clear your locally stored data:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove All

Security

While we don't store your data, we still take security seriously:

• All traffic uses HTTPS encryption
• No user authentication means no password security concerns
• Local-only storage means no server-side data breach risk

Transparency

This privacy policy reflects our core design principle: Your data stays with you. We built NDAForge this way intentionally, and we have no plans to change this approach.
